Kitchen Cabinet Specialists Who Repair — Not Replace
Been told the only fix is a new kitchen? A full rip-out runs into the tens of thousands and ties your home up for weeks. If your layout still works and your cabinets are sound, you don't need one. Surface Care restores kitchen joinery in your home — repairing damage, matching colours exactly, and respraying tired cabinetry to a durable, factory-grade 2pac finish.
Repairs happen on-site — no waiting on a workshop. We mask up, protect your benchtops and appliances, and you keep using your kitchen. Servicing homes and businesses across Sydney and Melbourne.
Chip, Scratch & Dent Repairs
Everyday knocks — chipped door edges, scratched drawer fronts, dents from pots and vacuum cleaners. Most spot repairs are finished in a single short visit.
Colour Matching & Custom Paint
We custom-mix paint to match your existing 2pac or laminate exactly — colour, sheen and texture — so repairs blend in rather than stand out.
Cabinet Door & Panel Resurfacing
When doors and panels are worn beyond a spot repair, we resurface them in place — sanded back, prepped and resprayed to a smooth factory finish.
Need A Full Kitchen Respray?
When the whole kitchen needs a new look rather than a spot repair, that's our kitchen resurfacing service — any colour you can pick, we can spray, with damage repaired first. See our kitchen resurfacing & 2pac respray page for everything it covers.
Water Damage & Internal Carcass Repairs
Water damage doesn't always mean new cabinets. Where the structure is sound, we repair and refinish swollen, peeling or bubbled carcasses and kickboards.
Timber, Laminate & Veneer Joinery
Not just 2pac. We repair and refinish all common kitchen and home joinery materials, matched to the original look.

2pac (two-pack) is a two-part polyurethane coating — paint plus hardener — sprayed to a smooth, durable finish. It forms a tougher, thicker film than regular paints and stands up to the heat, moisture and knocks of a working kitchen, which is why it's the standard finish on quality cabinetry.
Yes. We custom-mix paint to match your existing 2pac or laminate — including discontinued colours — so repairs blend into the surrounding surface.
If the damage is isolated — a chip, scratch or dent on an otherwise good surface — a colour-matched spot repair is usually all you need. If doors are worn, faded or peeling across the kitchen, or you want a new colour, a resurface or full respray is the better investment. Send photos and we'll recommend the right option in your quote.
Yes — we repair and refinish timber, laminate, veneer and 2pac-painted joinery, including internal carcasses.
For spot repairs, yes — most are done in a single short visit. For full resprays we mask and protect benchtops, appliances and surrounding joinery, and you'll have basic use of the kitchen for most of the job.
